Sweetness of fruit is often used for evaluating quality. However, sweetness does not always mean tasty fruit. Delicious fruits have the right proportion of sweetness and tartness. The PAL-BX/ACID range measures both Brix and Acid. The sugar/acid ratio indicates the maturation levels of fruit.

PAL-BX/ACID1, for Citrus fruit, cat. no. 7201

The BX/ACID1 is specifically for measuring the Brix and Acidity of citrus fruits including oranges, mandarin oranges, lemons and grapefruit.
